We are about to start Book the Second with Despereaux. Why do you think the author divided this book into 4 distinct parts? THINK really hard about this one... I know you can do it... :)
I love the book so far I think Despereaux is going to keep the love of the Pea he is going to get the needle and get the rat to get away.Then,he is going to have his love.

I think that Ryan is correct. I thinkt he author breaks it up so that he can wrap it all back together.
